Speak up Self Advocacy, which is a charity in Rotherham for people with learning disabilities, have made a short film about Annual Health Checks to raise awareness. We think this should help ease anxieties for some people and thus increase uptake.

In cold weather, and when babies are away from their usual environment, perhaps visiting over the holiday period. It’s more important than ever that we share safe sleep guidance. Lullaby Trust provide lots of information for parents, carers and clinicians.
Sadly, local cases of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) have had factors related to a change of environment. Encouraging parents and carers to plan in advance for holiday trips, or accommodating visitors can make a real difference. Sharing guidance really could make a difference.
