Andy went to Medical School and qualified in 1998. He completed his Basic Surgical Training before joining Rotherham VTS and has worked at Swallownest since joining in August 2005. Medical interests include Musculoskeletal/Joint injections, Men’s Health and Mental Health. He has also been a GP trainer at the practice since 2009. Andy joined Rotherham LMC in April 2013 and was elected as Chair in April 2019.
Andy’s main interest is cycling in the Peaks where he is more than happy being overtaken by more able cyclists. He also enjoys running, walking and skiing, as well as eating all different types of cuisines.
These days he spends most of his time whilst not at work, taxiing his two boys around for their different sporting activities having forced them from a very early age to take up all the sports their dad used to enjoy.
